宝可梦TCG Destined Rivals ETB 现身 Amazon Prime Day 补货

Amazon has been restocking a whole bunch of rare Pokémon TCG sets for Prime Day, and there are some seriously sought-after sets up for grabs right now.

That includes the rare Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box, which is currently available for just under $125 from Amazon. Amazon had these in stock a good month or two back, so it's definitely been a while since they've been regularly available from the major online retailer.

Yes, it's still well above the original MSRP, but that's unfortunately the state of the Pokémon TCG market right now. If you're willing to pay the premium, Amazon is currently one of the better places to pick one up.

TCGplayer has a median listing price of around $150, while its current market price sits at just under $120. Once you factor in delivery costs as well, Amazon's $124.55 price starts to look pretty reasonable, particularly given that it's sold and shipped directly by Amazon.

If you've been waiting for a restock, this is probably one worth considering while the stock lasts. These don't tend to hang around for long when they appear at major retailers.

The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box includes:

9 Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals booster packs
65 card sleeves
45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards
A player's guide to the Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals expansion
6 damage-counter dice
1 competition-legal coin-flip die
2 plastic condition markers
1 collector's box with 4 dividers to keep everything organized

It has been more than a year since Pokémon TCG: Destined Rivals launched, but the set remains one of the more difficult releases to find at a reasonable price. Above, you'll find our rundown of the 10 most expensive cards in Destined Rivals, including the highly coveted Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex (231/182), which is still fetching around $450-$500 on TCGplayer.

The good news is that this Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box is currently available directly from Amazon, with the retailer both "selling and shipping" the product itself. That's worth highlighting, given how many Pokémon TCG listings on Amazon are actually fulfilled by third-party sellers.

Whether you think the current price is worth paying is another matter. A market price is simply a reflection of what buyers are currently prepared to spend, rather than some definitive measure of value. With Pokémon TCG products regularly selling out at MSRP, however, market price is increasingly what collectors have to contend with if they want to pick up sealed products from major retailers.

If you're keeping an eye out for Pokémon TCG restocks, our custom Amazon search tracker can help. It makes it easier to find sealed Pokémon products that are actually "sold and shipped" by Amazon, rather than listings from third-party sellers.

Destined Rivals isn't the only Pokémon TCG product making a comeback during the Prime sale, either. The First Partner Illustration Series 3 set has also returned, alongside Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundles for $89.99. Surging Sparks boosters are available for $18, with several other Pokémon TCG products also back in stock at around market price or lower.
