《Star Wars: Galactic Racer》今日发售，Amazon Prime 会员可在 Luna 免费游玩

Here’s something you might not know: the video game streaming service Amazon Luna has a bunch of games that are free to play for Amazon Prime members. Out today and just added to the Luna lineup is Star Wars: Galactic Racers. Prime members can play it here for no additional cost. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up here to play it – and also shop Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, which runs through October 7.

If you don't have an annual membership and you don't want to pay the hefty $139 fee for one, you can sign up for a 30-day fee trial if you're new, or $15 for one month if you've been a past member. If you're a student, Amazon is giving you a break. Students get a 6-month free trial and then 50% off the annual membership.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is the first podracing game to release in over two decades. It features all sorts of zippy vehicles from a galaxy far, far away, vying for speed supremacy in a variety of diverse locations. The vehicles are highly customizable, and you can collect them all as you make your way through the roguelite-inspired racing campaign.

In racing expert Luke Reilly’s very positive IGN review, he wrote, “Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that gets a little repetitive thanks to its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets, but has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe.”

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is out today, October 6, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna. If you don’t have a Prime subscription and, by gum, you’re not going to get one now, you can buy one of the three available editions at a variety of retailers. PC gamers can even get a discount on a Steam code at Fanatical by entering promo code FANATICAL15 at checkout.

If you picked up a Prime membership, or you’re already one, you can take advantage of the many deals available in Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, running now through October 7. It has deep discounts on items like video games, as well as LEGO sets and Apple products and 4K Blu-rays. Basically, if you want to buy something, you can probably find it on sale — assuming you’re a Prime member.
